The IMRAD Research Paper Format

By : Muhammad Choirul RosiqinInternational Relations Student @University of Muhammadiyah Malang

IMRAD (IntroductionMethods, Research [and] Discussion) is a mnemonic for a common format used for academic [‘scientific’] research papers. While used primarily in the hard sciences, like physics and biology, it is also widely used in the social and behavioral sciences. The IMRAD format is also known as the APA format, as the American Psychological Association uses the IMRAD headings in its APA stylesheet.

  2. Fantastic blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers?

I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress
or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally confused ..
    Any recommendations? Many thanks!
